Getting to know you and your vacancy.

Before we start looking for your next star employee, we take the time to understand your vacancy.

We’ll discuss what your ideal candidate would be like, the skills, experience, and traits you’re after, as well as the responsibilities and specifications of the role or project. We also get a feel for your company, and the type of culture at your workplace, so that we can find someone who will fit in seamlessly on day one. It’s integral to us to have a thorough knowledge of your goals so we can find the prime candidate that best aligns with you.

Talent Edge's approach to sourcing is multifaceted, and we use a wide array of strategies to find the best talent, from drawing on our extensive talent pipelines, to using databases, social media, innovative recruitment technologies, targeted campaigns and more – we cover all bases to ensure that we corner every facet of the market. We’ll create a tailored campaign for your vacancy, write engaging advertisements and candidate briefings, and use our innovative search-smart system to finding candidates that meet your needs. We know that simply advertising does not always bring the perfect candidates, so we take a proactive approach and source hard-to-find talent that may be open to the right opportunity, but not actively seeking roles.

ASSESS

Screening and interviewing candidates for you, to find you the best of the best.

Once we’ve narrowed down the pipeline, we screen each candidate to ascertain the most relevant people for your vacancy. We use an array of interviewing and assessment tools that allow us to gain a comprehensive understanding of candidates’ motivations, goals, skills and experience. Whilst we always look at a candidate’s hard skills (the specific experience, qualifications, and technical ability needed to fulfil a role), we also place value on their soft skills such as communication, adaptability, and leadership. We also have access to a professional suite of recruiting and assessment tools that we utilise in this process. After speaking with your potential new employees several times, we develop a holistic view of the people behind the profiles – allowing us to understand who would best fit into your team. 

SELECT

Giving you a top-quality shortlist, and liaising with you as you meet your potential new hires.

We’ll liaise with you throughout each step of the process, but once we’ve curated a shortlist, we will pass on some candidates’ information and discuss why we believe they align with your goals. If you’re interested, it’s time to set up a meeting! We will consistently review with you after each meeting and make any adjustments needed until you find the candidate that fits perfectly.
